One of my favorite websites Ruche http://www.shopruche.com/ is having a give-a-way for a $50.00 dollar gift card. On the site they have a really neat fashion tic-tac-toe game that shows you different ways to make an outfit. Play a game of Outfit Tic Tac Toe! We chose nine versatile fall pieces for endless styling options. Click below to see the three-piece outfit combinations. To win the gift card you simply style two tunics with items on their website!

H&M Style Brights and stripes

I remember the first time I went to an H&M it was on a trip with a good friend to NYC. We were in college and broke so we took the cheapest red eye flight shared a twin bed in a friends dorm room BYOB-ed at restaurants and had a BLAST!!! Some how we still had some $$ to shop ;). I remember being slightly overwhelmed walking into the store..room after room and floor after floor of cute affordable trendy clothes and accessories! I think this was before the forever21 era so I was used to smaller budget friendly stores like 5.7.9 and wet seal. Anyways fast forward like 10 years and I still love a good bargain and have a H&M in my zip code!!!

Since fall in the south is still pretty warm I purchased this bright orange/red wool mini skirt . I love the color and the price at $24.95. I can't wait for it to get a little cooler and wear it with textured tights and boots! The striped sweater is also from H&M I love the boyfriend feel of it and the longer back then front. It was a steal at $19.99.

I also needed a new messenger type purse for fall, this one caught my eye and at $17.95 was right in my budget also purchased from H&M.

Out and about.

Zach and I were in Charleston this past weekend celebrating our 6 year anniversary of dating and my 30th birthday. So both nights involved yummy fancy dinners....unlike our usual papa johns and chick-fil-a meals =)

Our first evening out we meet up with some friends at SNOB. "Slightly North of Broad" Wearing a thrifty outfit. I love this Olive one sleeve dress from "Know Style at $25.00 as well as the $15.00 brown and gold belt, brown boots from Ross $25.99, clutch Charlotte ruse $ 12.99
Our Second evening out we went to Anson's. A restaurant with Southern architecture, elegant interior decor and gracious hospitality. A fabulous menu featuring - Shrimp and Grits, Lowcountry Seafood and Chops, using ingredients available daily from Charleston's fishing fleet and local farms.  The food was delish and my outfit cost a lot less then the bill ;)

Forever 21 Contrast Dress w/ Grosgrain Belt DRESS priced at  $ 22.80, which I paired with a Floral Lace cardigan (cause it was a little chilly) also from Forever for $ 17.80. Accessories Gold bead Necklace also from forever  $8.99 and  textured tights $4.99

Charleston Vaca Thrifty Fashion

I just got back from my new favorite city!! My boyfriend always teases me that I have about 10 favorite cities...but Charleston really was fantastic! It had it all amazing shopping, tasty foods, cobblestone streets and the the historic architecture of its downtown neighborhoods. The street after street of classic Georgia, Federal, and Victoria homes was unlike anywhere.

So for our first day touring I wanted to look chic but still be comfortable.
Floral Blouse forever 21 $16.99, Olive green t-shirt H&M $7.95, Jeans Gap, Tan bow flats Charlotte ruse $12.99, sunglasses Sears Kardashian collection $21.00

Finally TV does looks for less that are actually AFFORADABLE

While watching E! news today I was really loving the host's Giuliana's dress much to my surprise her dress was from Forever 21 and her entire look was less then $100. This week all of her outfits are going to be under $100 which is very refreshing considering most "looks for less" in magazines and on shows are still hundreds per item.

While shopping with a very fashionable friend today I was introduced to the new Kardashian Line at Sears. While the clothes were out of my $30.00 price range..the accessories and sunglasses were all under $30.00. Plus this week they are 30% off BONUS!!!!! I usually grab my shades at forever for a $6.00 price tag but tried on a  fab pair that really shouted FALL to me.   Oversized Vintage Sunglasses .

Here we go 30 here we GO!!!!!

Dress Lu Lu's $39.99, Necklace Target $6.99
www.lulus.com

Spent one of my LAST Saturday nights in my 20's with my girls. I knew this night would be
special and I wanted to feel young and carefree...and as you all know when you are searching for
an outfit for an occasion it can be more difficult then just shopping with out a cause. I found this to be the  case a few weeks ago I just couldn't find any dresses at my usual stores that would make an impact and make me feel great as I entered my 30's. So I did something I usually don't do and shopped online...I always end up getting a wrong size even after following the measuring body and attempting to measure my hips in the right place....and another reason is as Carrie Bradshaw once said "shopping is my cardio"  . So long story short I order this AMAZBALLS dress at Lu's Lu's!! It was a little over $30.00 at $39.99 but I ordered on labor day and got free shipping and a 10% discount with an online coupon. Even though I usually don't purchase anything over $30...I couldn't resist the 80's puff shoulders, the fun cut outs in the back and the can't miss HOT PINK! Even the boyf loved it....even after he found out the back wasn't the front ;).

How to Fashionably Wear Shorts in the Fall

How to Fashionably Wear

Shorts in the Fall.

Wearing shorts is a wonderful way to keep cool in the summer however you may be accustomed to packing away all your shorts once autumn rolls around, this doesn't nave to be the case. If you have a few pairs of black, brown or navy colored dressy shorts, you can easily create some fun and stylish outfits with them all through the change of season. Here is an example on how I choose to wear shorts this week even though the temperature dipped...which in Atlanta meant low 70's so I wore a cream tank sweater from Forever 21 at $16.99 and paired it with these awesome high waist-ed floral shorts that I purchased at TJ MAXX for a STEAL at 12.99. The leather bag is from Marshalls from a the ECHO brand which has some great leather bags that are all under $40.00. The cream socks with ruffle top are from Ross $3.99. Boots are also from Ross which I purchased a few seasons ago..however I noticed several boots in the store this year that were similar most under $30.00. I can't wait to try out this look when fall really hits us with some brown textured tights and a wrap sweater.

Tribal and Southwestern Prints

Southwest Prints are in this fall..however NONE of these shown in September's People's Style Watch Magazine were even remotely in my Budget of under $30.00...so i did a little shopping.

The Top is $19.99 from TJ-MAXX it was a little flowy so I added this fab light grey suede jacket with a cool asymmetrical zipper detail down the front and shawl collar and zippers on the sleeves as well. The jacket was the DEAL of the day at $24.99 also from good old TJ-Maxx. To complete the outfit I picked up some new black wedge ankle boots with an adorable detail on the outsides on clearance at Ross for get ready......$11.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!
